    Bavaria is the largest state of Germany, located in the southernmost part of the country, with an area of ​​​​70,553 km2 and a population of 12.4 million people.

The Bavarian part of the Alps is also the border with Austria, and the highest peak of this mountain range is in the territory called Zugspitze.
